Netflix streaming. This movie was recommended at 4.5 for me, and 4.1 for the general audience. I’m not sure why, perhaps it is because Joss Whedon (of Buffy, Firefly, and Avengers fame) is the writer and executive producer? I gave it three stars

- this is probably the furthest off that Netflix has been in guessing my rating. It just seemed to me to be a little too “teen-romance”, not as interesting or deep as it could have been, with the characters being too predictably stereotypical. Too simple, not complex enough, something’s missing. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 63, higher than I thought it would, and several of the critics seem to agree with my point of view on this one. Not really worth spending your time on it.
