Theater viewing, with a bunch of 14-year olds. Netflix doesn’t have it yet, but in advance they predict it at 3.7 for me, the same as for the general audience. There are 853 ratings on Netflix already, even though it isn’t available there – people must be seeing it in the theater and rating it on Netflix. Okay, I just gave it 5 stars.

I really liked this movie, primarily because of the beautiful animation and design. They did an absolutely fantastic job with the 3D models, both with the characters and with all of the many other objects. The use of color is fantastic throughout, and the little design elements show the love and care that the creators obviously had for this huge effort. It is certainly a masterpiece. The story is interesting enough, with lots of twists and turns, and it is a coherent story, at least for a movie. Sure, it’s a kids movie, but adults can enjoy this as well.
