Netflix dvd – they rated it at 3.8 stars for me, with the general audience giving it 3.5 stars. They are pretty close with their prediction, I’m vacillating back and forth between 3 and 4. I think there was a good movie in there somewhere, but it was too long (2:22) and they should have edited at least a half hour out of it. I liked the main characters, Peter and Gwen, but with the exception of Sally Field as Aunt May, I didn’t like any of the others. Reviews said the movie was “too cartoony”, and I can see their point, particularly with making Jamie Foxx look like an electric eel-like Electro, along with the dim-witted personality. I may end up going down to 3 stars with this one, a rarity for me since I love superhero movies.
